The MIA is the UK Trade Association of the musical instrument industry. We represent the full breadth of our sector including manufacturers, distributors, retailers, publishers and educators.Our mission is "MAKING MORE MUSICIANS"
Our best demonstration of this mission is at the annual LONDON INTERNATIONAL MUSIC SHOW held at Excel, London on June 11th-14th.
This is the biggest UK music making event featuring the best artists, the best products, performances, seminars and much more.
Our educational partners, Music for Youth will be making Education Day (Friday 12th) a MUST for all school children and their teachers (specially priced tickets are available for schools).

What the MIA does:
Promotes – the benefits of music making.
Through education and various public campaigns such as Learn to Play, Get Alive! and Weekend Warriors.
Supports – its members.
Represents their interests in Whitehall, Westminster and Brussels. Providing them with business support and access to many benefits.
Champions – the music industry as a whole.
Supports projects in the UK and links with like-minded groups worldwide to benefit the public and MIA members.
